  November 14, 2010 - Popped and poured. Tasted over the span of 3 hours next to their basic Valpolicella.
  
  The color was a dark ruby with lighter red along the edges. The nose was red fruit, cherry, and beef jerky. On the palate, the cherry comes through and it has good acidity. The tannins are evident, but fairly soft. Nice mouthfeel. The finish is fairly long at 15-20 seconds.
  
  Tasted next to the basic Valpolicella Rio Albo, this is worth twice the money of that wine.
