  November 19, 2010 - Color: Medium Ruby. Clear. Nose: Lovely floral nose, then blueberries and sour cherries. Some scorched funky earth that tended to fade into the background after 30 minutes in the glass. On the palate: Smooth and moderate red fruit on the initial attack, fresh yet soft acidity in the midpalate with some nice tobacco and leather over a little pepper. The finish is simple and smooth with some acidity, very soft tannins, and some latent spice and black fruit. Overall a nice, food-friendly mild wine. Solid.
