  November 24, 2010 - Delicious as previous bottles. Great nose. No worries drinking this now, not sure it will improve with time but it could well maintain this peak here for another 4 or 5 years.
  Second night: superb after a disappointing 1996 Montrose.
  
  After numerous bottles of this and other vintages, I've come to regard Alter Ego as a bit of a guilty pleasure - perhaps a bit forward and obvious, but so seductive - the girl you're not going to marry but you can't delete her number from your mobile.
