  November 27, 2010 - Pop and pour. Dark purple. Dark fruit and just a hint of oak on the nose. Palate had ripe dark fruit and silky tannins. The tannins got slightly more aggressive after the bottle had been open a while. I would put this Syrah somewhere in between the old world and the new world (or the stereotypes thereof). Ripe, but not overly so, with the structure to age. Quite enjoyable, but still tight, so my remaining bottles will rest for a while. Very glad I have a few more to follow its evolution. 91+.
