Slight drying tannin on the finish. Opened up a bit in the first 30 minutes and stayed at a plateau for the next hour or so and then the bottle was empty! Quite nice. A bit past prime but in a good place right now. Last had this wine 10 years ago and it was mind blowingly good. Drink up if you have any.
