January 1, 2011 - Wow - talk about leaving the best till last - two bottles on NYE night - tasted very similar although one was heavily sedimented whilst the other was very clean - dark colour with little obvious sign of aging, pine on the nose with underlying hint of chocolate, on the palate there was still a good tannic grip but perfectly in balance - dark fruits but not overtly plummy - excellent length and complexity
Last gasp winner of wine of the year award in our household - simply lovely wine1 person found this helpful 4,680 views

We STILL talk about that 2014 bottle...
Don't feel like splurging for the bottle these days, but wow what a wine!
