  June 7, 2005 - Clear, orangish. Nothing much on the nose. Palate: big teeth-coating tannins, high acidity, high alcohol (14%), but not unbalanced. Oak, earth, minerals, tar, a little flowery, dried herbs, no primary fruit. Inelegant, rough and harsh at this stage. Hard to judge its future.
