  January 7, 2011 - Very pleasant. Rich purple color, nominal nose but the wine itself had a nice mouthfeel with licorice and subdued fruit on the finish. Not heavily oaked, not much complexity, but overall a nicely crafted wine.
  
  We drank it on its own, with no complementary fruit, cheese or other food, but I'd think this would pair nicely with a grilled pork loin or spring lamb. All in all, not bad.
