  January 15, 2011 - Medium red color. The nose was reserved, slowly expressing itself as the stronger part of this wine with oak, spice, black cherry and blackberry on the nose. The palate is thin, sharp edged tannins though not overly tannic, dark red fruit, very spicy, short finish. Not one of the better efforts from Simi I have had. Ok.
