  January 19, 2011 - Wow. This was really amazing...even more so given the 16 dollar price tag. I am a Sancerre nutt so I don't give praise lightly. Citrus and apple on the nose with anticipation of someting heavier to follow. Notes of grapefruit, pear, apple, slate, and hints of oak in perfect balance. The finish lingers greater than expected for a white. Bottom line is this is one of the best Sancerres I have ever had. Glad I bought a bunch.
