  February 5, 2011 - Upon opening this right out of the cellar the nose was revealing almost nothing. After a 2 hour decant there still was very little fragance. What this wine lacked on the nose more than made up for on the palate. A completly seamless wine with both power and finesse. Layer upon layer of fruit that was never heavy or coying. Rich, powerful and with a long elegant finish. Even better on day two. I'm not very good at predicting a wines peak, but this is so good right now it will be hard to keep my hands off the remaining bottles.
