February 11, 2011 - Decanted. Blood red. Mostly clear. Alluringly fragrant nose with notes of baked cherry pie, vanilla extract, black olive. Flavors of ripe black currant, plum, fig, black olives. Developed a slightly unpleasant stewed, overripe fruit note on 2nd day. More fruit than structure. Decent, medium-length finish. Drink now. Not getting any better.
