  February 18, 2011 - Nice dark, well balanced syrah. Not sappy or oaky. That being said, it's terribly closed right now. On day one it was totally unyielding both on the nose and in the mouth. Day two more dark fruit and rasberry comes through with solid acidity but there's not much going on. Hint of wood on the nose. Short finish. I hope this is just temporary, otherwise it's a bad deal for $20.
