  February 18, 2011 - This wine has more of a heavy body to it, a dark ruby red color and 14.5% alcohol. It gives off aromas of cassis, cola, vanilla bourbon vanilla, euclyptus and spices. It tastes of cassis, vanilla, spices, candied red fruits and cola. With several hours of decanting time, it should drink good now, but no doubt will improve with age. My guess for a good drinking window, 2014-2020+. Nicely balanced. Want to have some fun. Have a blind tasting and throw in a bottle of Heitz, it will be sure to impress!
