  February 18, 2011 - Decanted for 1 hr before travelling to Pastis. Intense, surprisingly reticent for a 12 year old. Elian in the current issue of Wine Spectator says that this, the inaugaral vintage ia just beginning to show itself. I still think the Petit Syrah element will make this a late bloomer. Suggest trying again in 2- 3 years.The sediment was again substantial. Even after decanting through a sieve it still showed siginificant fine sediment on the wall and neck of the decanter.
