  March 5, 2011 - Had two bottles at Boulder Chop House for the wives Birthday celebration. Nice dark purple color with only slight transparency. The nose was tight on the attack but opened up after 20 minutes in the glass.
  
  What a beautiful nose, cherry, cassis, leather. spice and a touch of pepper. Medium to heavy body with well integrated tannins.
  
  Very smooth mouth feel and the flavor across the palate matched the nose. Drinking very well right now and should hold for several more years.
