  March 10, 2011 - Nose is slightly caramel, slightly bread toast, slightly cream, a little dust and earthy mud. A good dose of mint/eucalyptus. Bright fruits, cherries. Palate is fresh, nice crisp acidity. Sweeter and fruitier than the nose would suggest, tart raspberries and sour cherries. Good weight, but not heavy, nice, easy drinking. There is an off flavor I can't place throughout that comes to the fore in the finish, and some heat and bitterness don't match the 13% ABV, but do highlight the bit of disjointedness in this wine.
