  August 13, 2006 - Initially quite closed, with notes of cherry and a bit of red currant, amid very fine tannins. Seemed years younger than its 1995 bottle age. It did improve and open with 30-60 minutes ... but never got those wonderful, secondary Pauillac notes, that other bottles have had. Ok with the roast lamb chops. But not a slam-dunk
