  March 19, 2011 - Have tried the 1999, 2000 and the 2005 (shut down) and this is the finest Bahans of those by some margin. Three previous tasting notes, all very good. The essence of Graves with wet leaves and forest floor. A strong and aromatic nose, and the palate follows. Clearly not the same depth and body on the palate as the first wine, but this is distinctive and beautiful wine that should be appreciated on its own terms. Very good indeed.
