  April 7, 2011 - Deep, deep purple color, nose of young fruit black raspberry, mild pepper and tea with a hint of african violet, taste includes black rasberry, cherry, with a hint of chocolate, tannins are prominent but smooth albeit a bit chewy. This should get better with a few more years in the bottle but is certain nicely drinkable now. I would agree with the other reviewer with a comparison to a Gigondas
