April 9, 2011 - Still drinking well after 14 years. I'm sad it's my last bottle. Clear gold color, with deep intensity. Clean, medium intensity on the nose. Aroma characteristics include crushed stone and minerality, like a flinty Chablis, plus stone fruit and yeasty notes. This must have been aged on the lees. On the palate, medium acid, little or no tannin, medium body. Flavor characteristics match the nose, but a bit astringent on the finish. Good length. Good example of a gracefully aged white Burg.
