  April 28, 2011 - Popped and poured into Riedel Cab glasses. Dark garnet in color. While the nose was slightly muted at first, the wine hits the palate with black currants, chocolate, sweet approachable tannins, vanilla, and some coffee notes. Nice long finish. This wine isn't big like some new world wines. Very well balanced and structured.
