  April 29, 2011 - My first bottle of Pape Clement, grand vin or second wine. Brilliant red color. Fine legs off the glass. Aromatic nose comprising of vanilla pod and interesting nuances of sour dough. No big burst of berry fruits but instead a very smooth dark grape body. Velvety medium finish that is very classy. A longer more complex finish would have warranted a higher score. Nonetheless an excellent wine!
