May 6, 2011 - Day1: Tannic shutdown, aromaticly challenged. Lots of pencil-wood. One glass consumed, rest of the bottle stored in the fridge. Day 2: One glass poured, waited 1 hour for it to warm up. More cassis, more fruit, hints of juniper maybe. Too acidic mouth-feel to enjoy. Day 3: Now we're talking! Starting to open up: dark chocolate, juniper berries for sure, lilac blossom. Actually this is fantastic on day 3 if you like GIN and juniper berries. Too soon to expect anything more. Better to wait until 2014-2018. Possible 88-92 pointer later years, at this stage drinkable only if you enjoy juniper berries and oaky pencil shavings.

4/5/13, 6:09 PM - Did you have it in the bottle or in a decanter for the 3 days?

4/9/13, 11:22 PM - The wine was in a bottle. The bottle was closed and in the fridge over night. Glass was poured and I waited an hour for it to warm up. No vacuvin was used, just a cork.
