  May 13, 2011 - Tasted this at the winery today and it was stellar; rich Pinot noir nose, loads of berries with a whip of oak,
  and classic RRV velvet on the palate. Good enough that I bought a couple more bottles; given the very
  variable notes, this must have been going through an awkward phase or there were challenges in provenance.
