  May 16, 2011 - translucent garnet in color with a hint of orange at the edge. on the nose, a nice mix of cool berries, flowers, tea, and warm, moist soil. the palate follows through with tart cherry, nice acidity, and tannins that give it a nice edge. not flabby in the way some can be, it is focused, yet expressive. too bad this is my last bottle...
