  September 9, 2006 - Deep garnet with a little fading on the edge. Animal fur and beefs blood dominates the aromas with some spice and black plums in the background. Lush on the attack with earth and meat. Plenty of structure to support another 10 years in the cellar. The mid palate could use a little more stuffing and the finish is a little tart though. Overall it’s a very enjoyable wine and was a fantastic QPR.
