  June 10, 2011 - Ran through a vinturi and decanted 20 minutes. Very dark purple. Nose is mainly alcohol, but has a little bit of tar, some dark fruit, and a strange kashi-type smell. The taste is HOT with super-firm tannins that relaxed after the first hour. Some dark cherries, but not much fruit. Not a very enjoyable wine for my palate.
