  July 9, 2011 - Complex nose showing great maturity of fruit, rich but evolved tannins balanced by a great minerality. In the mouth confit blackberry with hints of truffle and tobacco with minty hints yield to tertiary flavors of autumn forest soil and graphite. Flavors are nice and precise, but not too complex. Given the power, we thought mistakenly of Pauillac or St Estephe.
  The wine does not show its age and is alive and kicking as ever !
