July 10, 2011 - Had this wine with leftovers of wild boar braised in a tomato sauce with lima beans. This wine was quite a surprise. This wine was dominated by dark fruits and cherries. I've heard others use it to describe wine, but for the first time in my tasting "career" I got undertones of bacon. This was a good wine and a steal for the price.
