  July 13, 2011 - Some cigar box, oak and jammy dark fruits on the nose. The palate had a touch too much alchohol with a slightly hot finish. The predominant taste was of ever so slightly bitter plums. I'm a fan of Penfolds generally, but this was a midweek stand in at best for me.
