  July 13, 2011 - Six years in my cellar was maybe a bit too long. Fruit has faded while metallic and mineral notes have emerged. Nose is very muted. The palate is slightly astringent. Scorched earth and plum highlight the finish along with ample tannins. But the color is remarkably fresh without any hint of ageing. Alcohol is high and noticable. Maybe this wine is actually too young. Last one so I'll leave it to other tasters to discover that.
