  June 11, 2011 - Back, Back in the USofA (StrEat Restaurant, Austin, Texas): Garnet with a black core and clear, pink rim. Dusty and masculine on the nose with cherry, plum, and fragrant tea notes with a slight pop of brett. Palate was concentrated with red and black fruits and great (if a little alcoholic) acidity with a long, grippy tobacco and sandlewood finish. Drinking well now and in the future. The favorite in this flight for most tasters.
