  June 25, 2011 - The nose had aromas of cassis, raspberries, and a spicy wood note. The palate had very nice red fruit flavors and dusty earth with a nice sandalwood note from the oak influence. Very smooth mouthfeel and a long finish. This was only decanted for about an hour prior to tasting and was still opening up as we finished it off. I really enjoyed this bottle a lot. I suspect that the sandalwood notes are from Darnajou barrels, but I do not know for sure.
