  August 3, 2011 - Better than I remembered it, may have improved somewhat with a little bottle aging. Great color, good nose, although fleeting. Nice Merlot to drink with food, we had it with some pasta lightly tossed in olive oil, butter, and some fresh herbs. Great wine to serve to non-wino friends as it is easy to drink. I suspect that a year or two of bottle age or maybe 45 minutes of air after opening will bring out the best of this decent Washington merlot.
