  August 14, 2011 - Really interesting. the bouquet almost reminds you of an "old fashioned" (as does the color coincidentally). Cantaloupe and tart orange (almost like orange zest) and sweet red cherries flourish on the nose and the first taste. by mid-palate, it turns into earth/minerals and the mellows out with the melon/cantaloupe sweet residue on the finish.
  
  Definitely worth having a few more. I haven't tried it with food yet, but I bet it will be killer with certain mussels/clams or seafood dishes.
