September 11, 2011 - From 750 ml bottle. Not tatsed blind. Surprisingly healthy, this is typical old style Rioja. Acidic, light bodied, dominated by caramel and offering only dried fruit aromas. This is not my cup of tea, given the lack of fresh fruit and overly tart palate, but it wasn't as horrible as I expected either.
