  September 17, 2011 - This was my first Decesse and it was wonderful. Decanted for about 1.5 hours, plenty of sediment in the bottle - deep purple with just a hint of red/brown on the edges. Complex nose of black currant, lead, cedar and leather. Smooth, rich body with black cherry, currant and blueberry. As we drank the wine over the evening, subtle notes of cocao and clove appeared. The spiciness complemented the fruit flavors. I found the finish to be just a tad bitter (overall very good though), maybe suggesting that it will benefit from some more cellar time. Enjoy!
