  September 22, 2011 - earth spice nose. Very elegant and smooth but quite complex with layers of dried flower, leather, fruit, olives, earth, mineral, and red fruits. Not a lot of structure and not a heavy-weight modern barolo, but a tapestry of integrated flavors.
