  September 28, 2011 - Opaque purple almost to the rim. Nose of blackberry, underbrush, iron and coffee. Black fruit, licorice in a big, full bodied style. Nice acidity and some tannins that are fairly smooth but lead me to believe this will improve for another year or two in the cellar.
