  October 1, 2011 - On the bottle variation scale, I think this was middle of the pack. Not one of the best bottles I have had, but was much better than some of the flawed bottles. Big wine, showing dark fruit, cassis, oak, and soft tannins on the finish. A step short of the great ones, but very nice to drink along side the '97 Cab Franc (which some preferred but I did not).
