  October 10, 2006 - Very special ..supple but velvety in taste..peper and coffee notes mixed with lush berry flavors that linger just the right amount and lead to a fine long finish.
  Several days after initial tasting I sampled this again at my daughter's home. She had purchased the wine at the same time and reminded me that Robert Parker had strongly positive comments about this wine and that I may not have said enough. It is great and significantly individualistic to be able to hold its own in the flood of excellent red wines from Napa/Sonoma and much of the rest of the West Coast. The only con I can think of is the price.. I do think it is over-priced.
