  October 10, 2011 - Interesting nose. Almost a poached pear type tropically mixed with vanilla and slate. Round mouthfeel with some richness that is cut by fabulous acidity. Doesn't come across as sweet at all. I think I detect some wood notes but I'm not sure what the wine saw. I have little experience with chenin blanc and it's possible that with more experience I would have liked this more. I don't think I would buy more, but it's quite possible I'll regret that down the road.
