  October 15, 2011 - Nose is jam-packed with pretty red fruit and strong hints of vanilla. Almost candy-like, reminds me a bit of Fun Dip. Raspberry, strawberry on the palate with earthier tones like a touch of tobacco. The wood influence is fairly clearly there. Gets a touch hot on the finish for me. Surprisingly approachable for such a young nebbiolo, relatively low acid. A delicious drink that won't necessarily suit too many Piedmont fans. But it's so tasty that it's hard to get mad at it.
