  October 21, 2011 - Drank a bottle at a tapas bar in Barcelona. Spent the next three weeks trying to find more - finally visiting the Bodega in Toro. Toro wines are much different than the more popular Riberas and Riojas. I love the wine and the region. It is like Napa in 1955.
  This "Special Selection" is their reserve and it is gorgeous. Very concentrated, big fruit and a dark berry chocolate hint. I have 3 more bottles that won't be opened until 2015-16. Worth seeking out. Much bigger than their regular bottling of tinto Toro.
