  December 4, 2011 - Lighter ruby color than I expected, but bright and clear, nice presentation. Nose is a little off and non-aromatic, mostly of cherry with the smallest amount of spice, alcohol, and chocolate, but has nice mineral note. Palate is beyond beautiful, medium bodied and firm, high quality dried cherry fruit with a list of tight other flavors not yet fully development. I have two more of these, will wait a year for the next one. The finish is remarkably smooth and fairly long. I love these COS wines, cult status: approved.
