  December 11, 2011 - Second day open. Aromas of similar to ripe blackberries and raspberries engulf the nostrils, with a hint of earth coming through towards the end. A smell of this wine is similar to walking through a wild berry patch on the morning after a rainy evening. The palate reeks of elegance with under-ripened raspberries and delicate silk swarming the tongue. Rounded out by a nice acidity and a slightly tannic bite, I think this wine will keep on giving for several years.
