  December 13, 2011 - Some interesting, pungent herbal aromatics on the nose. Oak, milk chocolate, and dark fruit. Medium-bodied and moderately extracted. Not showing much Rioja character or typicity; comes off as an oaky, modern-styled, somewhat anonymous, yet very quaffable wine. This could have been much better had they dialed down the oak treatment.
