  December 22, 2011 - Not quite sure what to make of this--was worried that these bottles were over the hill based on other notes. However, there's still plenty left and this is a very enjoyable wine. It's still pretty tight when you pop and pour, all tannins and acid, with some typical cab fruit available on the finish. Once the wine had some time to breathe (~30 min), everything came together nicely. Definitely not your typical Cali cab, much more restrained and more balanced to my palate. I'll let my other bottle go for a bit.
