  December 25, 2011 - This wine is now 4 years old. There is a watery rim hinting at some warmth on the edge. The nose is farmyard. The initial impression is soft brambly fruits with a delicate acidity. An undercover burgundy with quite pronounced dryness on the mid palate and beyond that mimics tannins. Quite long. When the wine is swirled in the glass, droplets are left on the side as though the glass has just been washed in non soapy water! Where will this wine be in later years is a complete mystery but I try it every Christmas so until next year...
